During last night’s UFC 302 pay-per-view, the UFC announced the main card for the upcoming UFC 303 PPV event, which is headlined by a welterweight scrap between former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.

That card, barring any last-minute adjustments or injuries, is as follows:

Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler at welterweight

Jamahal Hill vs. Carlos Ulberg at light heavyweight

Mayra Bueno Silva vs. Macy Chiasson at women’s bantamweight

Joe Pyfer vs. Marc-Andre Barriault at middleweight

Ian Machado Garry vs. Michael “Venom” Page at welterweight

UFC 303 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on June 29.

The 35-year-old McGregor has not fought since he broke his leg in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 264 in July 2021. McGregor underwent surgery to repair the damage to that limb.

McGregor is 22-6 in his career. Over his past four fights, dating back to October 2018, he is 1-3 with two TKO losses to Dustin Poirier and a submission setback to then-UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor’s one win during that stretch was a January 2020 TKO victory over Donald Cerrone at welterweight.

The 37-year-old Chandler has a career record of 23-8. His last fight took place in November 2022. He lost to Dustin Poirier via submission in that outing. He is also 1-3 in his past four UFC bouts. In addition to the loss to Poirier, Justin Gaethje beat Chandler by decision, and Charles Oliveira defeated him via TKO. Chandler’s win during that stretch was a May 2022 knockout of Tony Ferguson.

McGregor has been angling for a return to action for quite some time, but White’s stance was that he did not want to book McGregor while he had obligations related to his role in the recent “Roadhouse” film remake. With those tasks out of the way, the UFC has scheduled McGregor vs. Chandler.

Jamahal Hill (12-2-0-1), a former UFC light heavyweight champion, was initially booked to face Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 303, but Rountree was forced out of the fight after a tainted supplement he was taking resulted in a drug test failure and suspension. Carlos Ulberg (10-1) steps in to replace Rountree. Hill is the No. 3 ranked fighter in the official UFC light heavyweight rankings, while Ulberg checks in at No. 11.

With that, here is everything you need to know about UFC 303:

When is UFC 302?

What time does UFC 303 begin?

Start times for Eastern Time, Pacific Time, and Greenwich Mean Time are included in the table below.

Islam Makhachev makes his much-anticipated return to the octagon by defending his lightweight strap against long-time UFC star Dustin Poirier.

It’s a match of contrasting styles, as Makhachev thrives as a grappler and ground-and-pound artist, while Poirier is always seeking a lethal knockout blow.

On the prelims, Jake Matthews, a rising star from Australia, looks to notch the 20th victory in his still-young MMA career after losing to Michael Morales in his last showing.

Then, there’s the battle of two undefeated fighters — Hyunsung Park and Andre Lima. Park has been a perfect 4-0 since joining the UFC, while Lima has an unblemished 2-0 record with the promotion.

These two flyweights have a chance to cement themselves as true contenders for Alexandre Pantoja’s championship belt. Whoever wins should receive a boost up the rankings, as neither currently resides in the top ten.
